Hi, I’m Janneke.

A photographer, fashion lover, creative soul and the girl behind Loïs Mae Photography ,  a name that means the world to me, as it’s named after my daughter, Loïs Mae.

My love for fashion has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Before photography became my full-time career, I spent 15 years building my own fashion business and creating my own jewellery label, where every piece was handmade by me. Fashion has always been more than just clothes to me. It’s about self-expression, individuality, textures, colours and the little details that make something feel special.

And that love never really left. It simply found a new way to express itself  through my photography.

Today, I bring that same passion into every shoot. Think editorial-inspired imagery, effortless styling, beautiful light and a touch of something unexpected. I love creating images that feel like they belong in a fashion magazine, while still capturing the personality and story of the person in front of my camera.

For me, photography is about more than taking a beautiful picture.

It’s about creating a feeling. A mood. An image that makes you stop scrolling for a second.
